The “Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021” was passed into law on December 27, 2020 following a bipartisan support despite a short stall issued by President Trump regarding the payment of $600 versus $2,000 of individuals who make less than $75,000. The law allocates $900 billion for COVID-19 relief and a remaining $1.4 trillion portion towards standard spending allocations.
